Permission to Play
Learn how to play again through art and self-expression
On paper, things are “good enough.” You’ve been checking the boxes—hydrated, intentional, striving, achieving. But still… something’s missing.
Remember when fun came naturally, when you could get lost in play without thinking about outcomes, productivity, or whether it was “worth it”? That’s the space we’re going back to.
This class is all about rediscovering joy through play: talking about why it matters as adults, dropping the shame that sneaks in when we try to be playful, and experimenting with expressive art just for the sake of creation.
We’ll use markers, pencils, scissors, glue, and anything else that feels inspiring—no experience needed, just a willingness to show up and let go.
It’s not about making “good art,” it’s about making space for yourself, your imagination, and a kind of fun that actually feels like fun.
