It's almost time for the school year to start again, and our friends at United Way are having a school supply drive!
Stuff the Bus is their community-wide school supply drive for children and teachers. This school supply drive serves schools in Faulkner, Van Buren, Conway, and Perry counties. When families are struggling to pay rent and put food on the table, school supplies are often out of reach. With your help, we can give students, and teachers, what they need to excel in the classroom.
Here is a list of items they need:
Pencils
Dry Erase Markers
Scissors
Antibacterial Wipes
Backpacks (K-12)
Kleenex
3-Ring Zipper Binders
Headphones with Cords
If you would like to contribute to the drive, you can drop your donation off at the box by our front desk. As a thank you, we are giving a free day pass to anyone who participates! All you have to do is let a Studio staff member know you made your donation and we’ll take it from there. The drive ends July 31st, so be sure to make your donations before the deadline. Our lobby will be open 9am-3pm Mon-Fri.
Want to help out in another way? They will need volunteers on August 1st from 9AM-2PM to help collect supplies at the Walmart on Hwy 65 in Conway, or you can volunteer to help organize and distribute the school supplies.
