Offering excellence for a variety of private Fine Arts instruction, The Studio Downtown is located in the heart of historic downtown Winchester. Providing private lessons for a variety of instruments, including voice; art lessons for beginner level and advanced; and digital photography workshops. At The Studio Downtown, we structure our lessons from an artistic standpoint simply with a weekly lesson, one-on-one with an accomplished instructor. Learning continues at home with online coaching of recorded highlights of their Studio lesson for review and practice. In addition to being taught fundamental skills and theory, our interactive approach covers various styles of music – rock, jazz, blues, country, indie and contemporary.

In addition to weekly classes from August until May, we offer summer camps, photography workshops and feature Guest Artist workshops and performances.

The Studio Downtown also is the location for, Phil Ling Photography offering custom children or family photo books, commercial photography and wedding photography. Phil’s photojournalistic style captures real moments in a refreshing, natural and contemporary style.
